This is a still life with some of my favourite things, feathers from a Kookaburra and a Guinea fowl, a dried protea, a beautiful antique crystal vase and a Persimmon, a favourite fruit.

I’m one of those people who loves to collect little treasures like sea glass, shells, seed pods, and of course feathers.”

I have an absolute passion for all things art, especially painting. I have painted for as long as I can remember and studied painting & ceramic design. I majored in ceramic design but continued to paint. I am originally from South Africa and spent 5 years in the U.K before finding my way straight to the Sutherland Shire. I love flowers and all things nature, and am also a qualified florist. As well as my love of painting, I also have a passion for helping others through art and am now an Art Therapy practitioner too. I find inspiration for my paintings all around me, from a simple vase of beautiful flowers to the stunning place I call home. I love using intense colours so delicious you can almost taste them, with interesting combinations and lots of contrasts. Painting fills me with so much joy and happiness and my only wish is that my paintings bring the same joy and happiness to those who view them.
